Why being transparent will make you more productive

I used to be busy but not productive.  Now, every quarter I’m intentional with my time.  I get away to review my previous goals followed by renewing and recommitting to my goals.  This is a great exercise because sometimes I think I haven’t accomplished enough.  However, I realize I’ve made more progress than my inner voice told me.

And some goals I focus on more than others for the quarter to help make other goals more possible.  Then I make my push goals public because it’s harder to let the public perspective of me down vs. myself alone.  That said, my push goals between Nov – Jan are:

Spiritual

  1. Continue praying daily.
  2. Start reading a daily devotional book.
  3. Increase 10-min meditation to 5x/wk.
  4. Continue church weekly.

Purpose & Career

  1. Find and hire a great member for our team at work.
  2. Get authorization to hire more.
  3. Finish Amy Porterfield’s modules 1-2.  Stretch: Finish module 3 too.

Physical Health

  1. Continue intermittent fasting and flexible dieting.
  2. Get body fat test.
  3. Increase my HIIT to 2x/wk.  Stretch:  3x/wk.
